Carlisle will soon provide the Appalachian Brewing Company with its newest home. The successful brewpub will be replacing 1757 Bar and Grille on the Carlisle Barracks Golf Course, reports Penn Live.

The premiere spot, located at 920 Jim Thorpe Road, sits on an historical location. Appalachian Brewing Company will be located on the Carlisle Barracks, America’s oldest military installation.

An official opening date has not been announced.

A press release addressing the establishment’s new location states “This exclusive destination welcomes both military members and the public with easy access to the course and clubhouse, which are located entirely outside the Carlisle Barracks gates.”

Appalachian Brewing Company first opened its doors in 1997. The brewery, headquartered in Harrisburg, currently operates five brewpubs and two manufacturing plants across Pennsylvania.

The new restaurant will offer customers a wide range of classic microbrew fare, ranging from poutine, to chili, to a vast array of burgers, tacos, and quesadillas. Additionally, Appalachian Brewing Company will feature craft sodas, beers, and cocktails.

Director of restaurant operations, Nathan Voss, states “We are elated to be expanding into Carlisle area. Appalachian Brewing Company at 1757 Grille gives us the opportunity to provide our quality offerings to the Carlisle community, with hand crafted brews and exceptional food.”
