Parlor Donuts is preparing for Pennsylvania dominance. Local media outlet Penn Live reports that the layered donut bakery is preparing to open at least four locations across the state.

First up is a storefront at 2350 Lincoln Highway in East Lampeter Township. The facility, situated in Millcreek Square, is scheduled to open on August 3rd.

The East Lampeter location is only the bakery’s opening salvo, however. Parlor Donuts is scouting sites in Dauphin, Cumberland, and York counties, as well as expansions to Maryland and Delaware.

Andrew and Teal Marcos claim the franchise rights to  this area. Speaking of Parlor’s aims and ambitions, Andrew states “The name really tells a lot about the culture and atmosphere we are trying to create with customers gathering in the Parlor and photos displayed of the Salvation Army’s Doughnut Lassies as they served our veterans doughnuts during World War I.”

Darrick Hayden and Josh Tudela founded Parlor Donuts in 2019. The chain currently operates 16 bakeries across 9 states.

Parlor Donuts focuses on layered donuts, offering over 20 varieties of the treats including French toast, raspberry pistachio, and Dreamsicle. The store also offers an array of breakfast sandwiches, coffee, tea, juice, and kombucha.
