KNEAD Hospitality + Design is set to unveil a new dining concept this fall, expanding its footprint.

Mi Casa, a Tex-Mex–inspired eatery with inspiration from the “evocative Arizona desert,” will open this fall at 3151 Market Street in Philadelphia’s University City, becoming the group’s second restaurant in the region.

“The space features distressed leathers, natural stone, and artisan-crafted elements, including handcrafted metal Saguaro Cactuses that bring the desert landscape indoors. It’s a bold, sleek, and dramatic environment that balances masculine and feminine energies, complemented by vibrant serape patterns and atmospheric lighting,” a spokesperson told What Now Philadelphia

Founded in 2015 by Jason Berry and Michael Reginbogin, the Washington, D.C.–based KNEAD Hospitality + Design is James Beard-nominated and operates a diverse portfolio, from full-service restaurants featuring Mexican, Southern, French, American and steak cuisines to fast-casual concepts serving burgers, tacos and pizza, according to the website.

Edward Lee directs the kitchen at Succotash, a Korean and Southern-inspired restaurant, while Roberto Santibanez heads The Grill and Mi Vida. Mi Vida will open its Philadelphia location this winter.

Few details are announced about the upcoming concept, but the name “Mi Casa,”  meaning “My House,” suggests the menu could include items from the group’s other Tex-Mex–inspired restaurants.
