A family-owned Italian restaurant is growing its presence in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Vintner’s Table, owned by Andrea and Marco Folino, is set to open at 24 Cricket Ave. in Ardmore. The restaurant currently has locations in Phoenixville and Wyomissing.

“It’s such a gorgeous space. He [Marco] could envision it being a pillar in the community—just being central to everything that is Ardmore. This is going to be the groundwork for all locations moving forward,” hospitality manager Brandon Bunce told What Now Philadelphia.

The Folino family, who immigrated from Calabria, Italy, in the 1980s, built their hospitality business with the opening of Valentino’s before launching Folino Estate Winery in Kutztown in 2014. Inspired by their Italian heritage and winemaking roots, the family later expanded the concept with Vintner’s Table.

Andrea’s background in interior design shapes each location, including the Ardmore restaurant, creating spaces balancing old-world charm with a modern aesthetic.

“It’s going to be light and airy, with the brightness of the stonework. It’s like Southern Italy, as if you were to walk off into the Amalfi Coast, Positano kind of feel,” Bunce said.

The menu will mirror the other locations, featuring shareable plates, or piccolini, meaning “little ones” in Italian, alongside antipasti, Italian farmer’s boards, Roman-style flatbreads, flatbread sandwiches, homemade pasta and salads. Everything is made in-house, including the fresh dough.

Bunce said his go-to order is the Chicken Caesar Piadina, a homemade flatbread sandwich, best paired with the estate Pinot Grigio.

Each menu item comes with a recommended wine pairing.

“Wine is one of the core things. There’s a whole locality to it. We’re supporting the entire community that’s in Kutztown, developing the grapes. We just launched a Petit Verdot, and they do such a great job at the estate making our wines,” he said.

The team is eager to bring Vintner’s Table to Ardmore.

“We’re excited to get the opportunity to open a little bit closer to a more city-like environment in Ardmore. I think we will blow people away with our level of Italian hospitality. Marco and Andrea have really spent a lot of time crafting this brand. They don’t cut corners,” Bunce said.

The Ardmore location will serve lunch and dinner and is targeting a late August or early September opening

“We are going to try to be that third space for people, especially with business meetings for lunch. But then, also for dinner, we want to be that place people go to outside of work and home, a gathering place. We’re also planning to add live music to our weekly lineup,” he said.
