An organic grocery store is coming to the greater Philadelphia area.
Sprouts Farmers Market has signed a lease at the Llanerch Shopping Center in Havertown, a spokesperson confirmed to What Now Philadelphia.
The recently redeveloped shopping center draws more than 45,000 vehicles each day and sits in the heart of Delaware County.
“Sprouts is excited to continue its growth and bring healthy, better-for-you products to the greater Philadelphia area in 2027,” Dave McGlinchey, Sprouts’ chief development officer, said in a statement.
The supermarket is one of the largest and fastest growing specialty retailers of fresh, natural food. It offers a thoughtfully curated selection of products supporting wellness, featuring organic, gluten-free, plant-based and non-GMO favorites.
Sprouts, headquartered in Phoenix, AZ, employs approximately 36,000 team members and operates more than 480 stores across 25 states nationwide.
The company currently operates seven Pennsylvania locations, including stores in Lansdale, York, Dresher and four in Philadelphia. The Havertown store will expand the chain’s footprint in the state.
Sprouts Farmers Market is on track to open in the first quarter of 2027. Visit the website and follow along on Instagram and Facebook for the latest updates.
