An outdoor lifestyle brand is opening a new storefront.

Timberland will debut at Cherry Hill Mall, taking over the former Lids space near the JCPenney wing as the retailer relocates to another location within the mall, an Evesham Facebook group shared.

The new store will operate as a boutique location rather than an outlet, offering Timberland’s latest premium collections and limited-edition releases.

The company is best known for its rugged footwear, particularly its iconic yellow boot. Timberland also offers apparel and accessories for men, women and children, including jackets, hoodies, backpacks and workwear-inspired styles designed for everyday wear and outdoor activities.

Built on the craftsmanship of founder Nathan Swartz, Timberland traces its roots to 1955, when Swartz took full ownership of the Boston-based Abington Shoe Company and relocated operations to a factory in a New England town. In 1973, the company launched its first boot under the Timberland name.

Today, Timberland operates stores worldwide as part of VF Corporation, which owns several apparel and footwear brands, including The North Face, Vans and Dickies.

An official opening date has not yet been announced, however, the mall’s website reads: “Opening soon.” Visit the Timberland website and follow along on Instagram and Facebook for the latest updates.
