Starfish Scottsdale is preparing to open in McCormick Ranch. The restaurant marks Starfish Hospitality Group’s first location outside California. It brings fresh Asian-inspired dishes and drinks to the community.
Starfish Scottsdale Marks the Group’s First Expansion Outside California
Starfish Scottsdale will mark Starfish Hospitality Group’s first move outside California. The restaurant will open on May 5, 2026, in McCormick Ranch. Limited reservations will be available from May 1 through May 4 ahead of the opening.
The restaurant spans a 5,200-square-foot space that includes indoor seating and a patio. It is designed with tropical elements and artwork inspired by Southeast Asia. The space is designed to accommodate both casual lunches and private dining occasions.
“Since deciding to expand into Arizona, we’ve been working extremely hard behind the scenes to bring Starfish to life in Scottsdale,” said Gretchen McConnell, co-owner. “We’re thrilled to finally announce our opening and invite the community to experience our dedication to freshness, quality, ambiance and service firsthand.”
The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Daily happy hour will run from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The restaurant will also offer takeout, delivery, private dining, and catering.
Asian-Inspired Menu
Starfish Scottsdale will serve a wide range of fresh Asian-inspired dishes and drinks. The menu draws inspiration from Thailand, Korea, Vietnam, China, and Japan. The menu features over 70 shareable plates.
Signature dishes include Lobster Macadamia Rolls, BBQ Pork Buns, and Thai Curry Chicken. Beverage options include cocktails, hot and cold sake, and globally inspired wines.
