Cartel Roasting Co. is headed for Phoenix’s Coronado neighborhood this month! The local coffee roasters will open at 2201 N. 7th St., which was formerly home to vegan restaurant The Coronado, which is now located on 12th Street.
Co-Owner Amy Silberschlag has confirmed with What Now Phoenix via text message that this new location is scheduled to open on Saturday, March 12. You can bet that they will be serving up their best single-origin roasts, Honey Lavender Matchas, Cascara Vanilla Tonics and other freshly brewed beverages that have made them a major player in the Arizona coffee scene.
Cartel will be taking over a 1,217 square-foot building that was built in 1915. According to LoopNet, the space still boasts much of its original charm from that era and also has a large patio, ample parking, and is ADA compliant. This will be their fifth location in the city of Phoenix and their eleventh location overall.
They also have two locations in Tucson, plus shops in Tempe, Scottsdale, Austin, and Palm Springs. For more information, visit cartelroasting.co (without the m) and follow them on Facebook and Instagram for the latest news and updates.
