After making its brick-and-mortar debut in Mesa last month, Fazoli’s is already looking to grow and open even more locations in the Valley.

The company recently opened its first Arizona storefront on Dec. 12 at Mesa Riverview under franchise owner Nava Singam of Kind Hospitality, following a Fazoli’s concession opening at Sky Harbor last year. Since then, the Mesa location has been breaking company records, including the biggest first-day and first-week sales. Now, Singam is scouting for additional locations in north Phoenix and the West Valley, according to Mouth by Southwest.

There is no exact timeline for these openings, considering the restaurant group is still looking for the right locations. Considering the company made the Mesa location announcement around this time last year, it could be another year until Arizona sees another Fazoli’s. The restaurant, a portfolio company of FAT Brands and one of America’s favorite fast and fresh Italian chains, focuses on its signature unlimited breadsticks and freshly prepared pasta entrees.

“The anticipation and excitement from our fans to bring back Fazoli’s to the Mesa community has been overwhelming,” Wayne Wright, Vice President of Franchise Operations at Fazoli’s, said in a press release last month when the Mesa location opened. “We’ve dedicated extensive preparation to ensure we meet the demand, and our team is geared up and excited to serving our freshly made Italian favorites to the Mesa crowd once again.”
