Litchfield’s, the signature restaurant at The Wigwam Resort, is undergoing a major renovation and plans to reopen in early fall 2026.
According to the Phoenix Business Journal, the restaurant closed on June 1 and is expected to remain shuttered throughout the summer while renovations are underway.
Located at 300 E. Wigwam Boulevard in Litchfield Park, Litchfield’s has long been a staple of the West Valley dining scene, offering an upscale dining experience rooted in the history and culture of the Southwest.
The renovation is intended to modernize the space while preserving the character and hospitality that guests have come to expect over the years.
Owned and operated by JDM Partners, Litchfield’s honors the property’s historic roots while offering a contemporary dining experience.
The restaurant’s exhibition kitchen allows guests to watch chefs prepare dishes while enjoying a menu centered on wood-fired steaks, fresh seafood, seasonal ingredients, and Southwestern-inspired flavors.
Current menu offerings include pecan wood-fired steaks, buffalo filet, wagyu flank steak, Gulf red snapper, duck confit, pork chops, and a variety of locally inspired craft cocktails. The restaurant also focuses on fresh ingredients and chef-driven preparations, with many dishes incorporating regional products and flavors.
A specific reopening date has not yet been announced, though the restaurant is expected to welcome guests back ahead of Arizona’s busy fall and winter tourism season.
