Steak lovers in Queen Creek may soon have a new dining destination to look forward to. According to information shared by Queen Creek NOW, plans have been submitted for a new LongHorn Steakhouse at 21398 Ellsworth Loop Road in Queen Creek Marketplace.
The proposed restaurant would be located south of Smashburger and north of Olive Garden near the intersection of Rittenhouse Road and Ellsworth Road.
The plans reportedly include architectural renderings and site plans for a roughly 5,780-square-foot restaurant, adding another full-service dining option to the rapidly growing community. No opening timeline has been announced.
LongHorn Steakhouse has built a loyal following through its focus on hand-cut steaks, bold flavors, and a Western-inspired dining experience.
The chain was founded in 1981 in Atlanta, Georgia, by George McKerrow Jr., George McKerrow Sr., Bill Norman, and Bill Dukes. Today, the brand operates more than 600 locations nationwide as part of the Darden Restaurants portfolio.
In addition to steaks, LongHorn also offers a variety of seafood, chicken, and salad options. Signature menu items include Flo’s Filet, the Outlaw Ribeye, Renegade Sirloin, Parmesan Crusted Chicken, LongHorn Salmon, Wild West Shrimp, and the Texas Tonion appetizer.
