Late last month, Oregon-based restaurant, The Point Pub & Grill, finalized details for its first out-of-state expansion with franchisee Connor Kottke, who signed on for a multi-unit agreement.

Kottke did not immediately return a request for comment, nor to provide details on whether leases have been secured.

In a statement, The Point’s director of franchise sales, Alan George, said, “Our entire team is excited to see this newest multi-unit deal come through with Mr. Kottke and we’re confident that with this kind of momentum, we will see more great things for The Point in 2023.”

Next year marks the company’s tenth anniversary, having “started in 2013 when a group of friends in the restaurant industry decided to open a neighborhood pub and grill by purchasing the historic Rostel Building in downtown Central Point, Oregon,” according to its website

Since then, the restaurant has been serving up a reliable slate of pub fare across three locations, including Deep Fried Pickle Chips, The Point Patty Melt, The Mac Daddy Patty Melt, and Beer Battered Fish, with a wide selection of vegan options to boot.
