V Modern Italian is in talks for a Scottsdale location. In a media advisory, Diversified Partners named the restaurant as a future tenant at The Lakefront at Scottsdale, located at 7501 E. McCormick Parkway.

Ned Lyerly, CEO of Fast Fine Restaurant Group, told What Now Phoenix that the company has discussed opening at The Lakefront but has not yet signed a lease.

The waterfront property dates to 1978 and covers about 100,000 square feet. The redevelopment includes restaurants and outdoor dining. Other sections would be used for shops, Class A offices, and public areas.

V Modern Italian serves contemporary Italian food in a setting influenced by aperitivo culture. Fresh pasta and pizza appear on the menu, and the bar serves wine and cocktails. Stefano Ciotti is V’s head chef and culinary partner.

Fast Fine also operates V Italiano Moderno and V Pizza. The company has restaurants under the V name in Sweden, Belgium, Spain, Saudi Arabia, and the United States. Nashville and Charleston are its current U.S. markets. Locations in Tampa and Kansas City are listed as coming soon.

What Now Phoenix may update this article as more information becomes available in the coming weeks.
