Peoria’s latest retail, entertainment and dining destination, Park West, just keeps getting better and better! Rolling onto the restaurant roster this spring is Phoenix’s own Yama Sushi House

Moving into Suite 1450, Yama has been listed as a “Coming Soon” tenant on Park West’s website for quite some time now. With up-and-coming brands like Wildflower and Bully Brew Co. in the mix, Yama is the perfect restaurant to fulfill Park West’s slot for Japanese cuisine.

After all, Yama Sushi House is already a well-established sushi restaurant throughout the Valley. With successful locations in Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Chandler, it’s about time the chain opened an outpost in the West Valley and even better that it’s driving business to the Upper West Side area.

With at least 50 specialty and classic rolls on the menu, Yama serves some of the best sushi in the Valley. They are particularly known for their premium cut sashimi, including the Tidus and Yuna Love Boat which comes with 15 pieces of sashimi, plus Spicy Tuna Roll, Dragon Roll, and nigiri. Yama also has poke bowls, noodles, and rice dishes to round out their menu.

Representatives for Yama have not returned requests for comment at the time of publication. However, at Park West’s Follow the Fork event held last October, Yama has indicated they’ll be open to the Peoria public this spring. For more information, visit yamasushihouse.com.
