Mountainside Fitness is planning a new location at FIVE NORTH at VISTANCIA in North Peoria. The 40,000-square-foot health club is expected to open in winter 2026 at 11701 W. Lone Mountain Pkwy., according to In Business Magazine.
The company paid about $3 million for 4.1 acres within the development. The sale is the first step in the commercial development of FIVE NORTH at VISTANCIA, a 320-acre mixed-use district planned near Loop 303 and Lone Mountain Parkway.
Once open, the gym is expected to become Mountainside Fitness’ 25th location in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The club will include fitness equipment, more than 70 group fitness classes per week, full-service locker rooms, and childcare.
The Peoria project is one of three upcoming Mountainside Fitness clubs listed within the Phoenix area. The company is also preparing a Cave Creek location at 34399 N. Cave Creek Road, though an opening date has not been announced.
In Gilbert, Mountainside Fitness plans to open at 713 S. Higley Road in Morrison Ranch. That location is expected to welcome members in September 2026.
Mountainside Fitness began with a single Arizona club in 1991. The locally owned chain now serves more than 150,000 members and offers strength and cardio equipment, personal training, group fitness classes, childcare, locker rooms, saunas, steam rooms, and recovery services.
