Migration Brewing is expanding to Northwest Portland. The craft brewery, which has built a big community across the city since its founding in 2010, has signed on to open a new pub and pizza kitchen at 2035 NW Front Ave inside the Field Office building in the Slabtown neighborhood, with a target opening of March 2027.

The new outpost will span approximately 3,000 square feet and feature a full pizza kitchen alongside Migration’s signature craft beer lineup. Plans also include a patio with fire features and a private event space, making it one of the more fully realized brewery concepts the brand has launched to date. Koble is handling the design and DeForm NW will serve as general contractor.

Migration was founded in 2010 by four beer enthusiasts and has grown steadily into one of Portland’s most recognized brewery names. The company operates a brewpub on NE Glisan, a pub in North Portland, and a production facility and taproom in Gresham. In May 2025, it added a three-story taphouse at the 1847 Food Park in Milwaukie and has also maintained a pop-up patio at the PacWest Center in downtown Portland. The brewery took home the 2024 U.S. Small Business Administration Oregon Small Business of the Year award.

The Field Office building where the new location will land is a 305,000-square-foot office development owned by a joint venture between Goldman Sachs and Lincoln Property Company.
