Silk Nife, a new bistro concept, is set to open at 10722 NW Lakeshore Avenue in Felida, a community just north of Vancouver’s city limits near Vancouver Lake, according to a report from Bridgetown Bites. This restaurant comes from Pearl West Restaurant Group, led by Jorge Castro, the hospitality team behind several well-known Vancouver concepts, including Margarita Factory, DOSALAS, and DIOSA.

The new restaurant will take over the former Los Potrillos space, but don’t expect a Mexican menu. Staff have confirmed that Silk Nife will be something entirely different. It was described as a bistro with an aesthetic similar to DOSALAS, the upscale Latin kitchen and tequila bar. The family-run company, rooted in a culinary tradition that traces back to Castro’s family in Guadalajara, Mexico, has built a reputation for elevated Latin dining experiences across the region.

Additional details about Silk Nife’s menu, opening timeline, and overall concept have not yet been announced. However, given the restaurant group behind the project, the Felida restaurant could bring another polished food and beverage concept to the area.

The opening would also give new life to a familiar neighborhood restaurant space in the Erickson Farms area, bringing another dining option to residents in Felida, Salmon Creek, and nearby parts of northwest Vancouver.
