A new fictitious business name has been filed for El Tito Kitchen at 2330 Arden Way in Sacramento. The space was previously Taqueria Junior and Taco Pupusas, which closed recently. The owner of the business is Mirella Vazquez, according to the DBA filing records.

Sitting among a handful of chained options, including Starbucks, Jack in the Box, and KFC, the building at 2330 Arden Way has always been a taco destination. Having seen several eateries come and go, the small, 769-square-foot establishment appears to be getting another tenant with a business that opened recently.

Vazquez told What Now Sacramento in an email that the new restaurant will serve Mexican food and seafood Sinaloa style, which often includes ceviche, seafood towers, and grilled fish. There will also be wine and beers, said Vazquez: “I’m working on the alcohol permits and I’m hoping to open in a month. The love of cooking is what made me want to do this.”
