An Elk Grove couple is getting into the medical spa business. Kyle and Audrey Lybrand have signed a franchise agreement with VIO Med Spa, a Nashville-based medical spa chain with more than 60 locations across the country, with plans to open a location in Elk Grove by spring 2027. A specific address has not yet been confirmed, as the couple is still searching for the right space.
Audrey, a clinical supervisor at UC Davis Health, and Kyle, who works in sales and consulting for building products company Tremco CPG Inc., were drawn to the concept for personal as much as professional reasons. Audrey said she was attracted by the membership model, which is built around ongoing client relationships rather than one-time visits.
The menu of services will include facials, injectable treatments like Botox and fillers, and hydration and vitamin infusions. The couple is looking for a space with four or five treatment rooms, and Audrey said her goal is simple: bring luxury to Elk Grove, according to the Sacramento Business Journal.
The Lybrands won’t be the only VIO Med Spa in the region for long. An existing VIO franchisee is also exploring a second Sacramento-area location, according to Ryan Rao, chief development officer at VIO Med Spa, who noted that communities like Elk Grove, Roseville, and Folsom are among the brand’s top targets for expansion.
