A gas station and convenience store at 29770 County Road 8 in Dunnigan, CA, is changing hands. State filings show Northern Cal Truck Stops took over the site’s liquor license, according to the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. Brian Douglas Profitt is listed as a manager on the new license.

The site had previously operated under H&S Energy Products, LLC, part of a large Orange-based convenience store and fuel chain that runs stations under the Extra Mile and Power Market brands, along with major fuel names like Chevron, Texaco, Shell and 76. H&S built its footprint significantly in 2024 after acquiring nearly 170 stores from Andretti Petroleum Group, expanding across California, Oregon and Washington.

The new owner, Northern Cal Truck Stops, is tied to a company formed in October 2025 and based out of Cornelius, North Carolina, according to state business filings, suggesting the Dunnigan site may be part of a newer, still growing operation stepping into the Northern California fuel and travel stop market.

Dunnigan sits along Interstate 5 in Yolo County, a stretch of highway long known for truck stops and fuel stations serving long haul drivers moving between the Bay Area and Oregon.
