Jersey Mike’s Subs is preparing to expand its San Antonio footprint with a new location planned for 15031 Babcock Road, Suite 106, according to Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation records.
The upcoming restaurant, listed under project number TABS2027001755, will occupy a 1,273-square-foot space within an existing multi-tenant building. The project is currently registered and is expected to involve approximately $300,000 in construction work.
According to the filing, construction is scheduled to begin November 1, 2026, with completion targeted for January 1, 2027. The project will include non-structural architectural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing work as part of the interior tenant finish-out.
ABISO Babcock LP owns the property, while Derek Murph is listed as the tenant for the project. Oculus Inc. is designing the work, with Stephen A. Meyer listed as the registered accessibility specialist.
Jersey Mike’s is a fast-casual sandwich chain known for its made-to-order submarine sandwiches. The company traces its roots to 1956, when it opened its first shop in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. Today, the brand has more than 3,300 locations across the United States and Canada, according to the company.
The restaurant specializes in East Coast-style subs, with meats and cheeses sliced fresh for each sandwich.
