According to All of SA, the restaurateur behind Chef’s Table SA TX in Helotes and Turkish Delight Cafe plans to debut a new concept in San Antonio.
Coming to 11840 Alamo Ranch Parkway, taking over a space formerly home to Taqueria La Terraza, La Cafe will land near establishments such as Einstein Bros. Bagels, Smashin’ Crab, and Tripoli’s.
“Bringing together French crêpes, waffles, Turkish pastries, and expertly brewed espresso, La Cafe promises to be a go-to destination for those who appreciate sweet moments and great coffee in a welcoming atmosphere,” the Journal reports.
What Now San Antonio reached out to the concept’s owner, Ibrahim Karabiyik, to inquire about his plans for the spot, but he could not provide additional information before publication.
For readers who are unfamiliar with Karabiyik’s existing restaurants, Chef’s Table offers an assortment of kebabs, tava — or a type of Turkish stew — and pide, a Turkish flatbread often topped with tomatoes, cheese, and meat.
An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
