Waxxed Cards is set to undergo renovations at The Shops at Lincoln Heights in San Antonio, according to a recently filed permit with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The project, located at 999 E Basse Rd., Suite 129, is listed under TABS2026023420 and involves a 2,476-square-foot interior remodel with an estimated cost of $180,000. Construction is scheduled to begin on July 15, 2026, and is expected to be completed by August 17, 2026.

Work on the space will include demolishing an existing restroom, adding a new restroom, updating lighting, installing water fountains, and installing new interior finishes.

The project is being developed under JMCR Lincoln Heights, LP, with Interior Design Group leading the design work. Tenant involvement is confirmed, with Cortne Bishop listed as the tenant contact.

The renovation is currently listed as “Project Registered,” with further details yet to be announced.

Waxxed was founded by industry veterans Joe and Laurence, with Laurence previously launching Triple Cards & Collectibles in 2017. The brand places a strong emphasis on the social and nostalgic side of card collecting, creating a physical space where enthusiasts can connect, share their passion, and build community within “the hobby.”
