Joyee’s Dumpling House, a popular Chinese restaurant with locations around San Diego, is opening a new site in the College Area at 6011 El Cajon Boulevard, Suite A.

The company’s sixth location is set to move into the former home of Pesto Italian Craft Kitchen, which closed early this year after seven years in business, according to SanDiegoVille. Owners Jingjing Fu and Runze Li hope to open the new location down the street from Campus Plaza in early 2025, offering a variety of authentic and Americanized Chinese cuisine. Joyee’s Dumpling House can be currently found in Poway, Torrey Highlands, 4S Ranch, Vista, and Oceanside.

When the company’s newest location opens early next year, customers can expect the same menu with a little bit of everything, ranging from breakfast options and appetizers to meat and seafood entrees. In addition to the various entrees Joyee’s Dumpling House offers, the restaurant also offers plenty of dumplings, steam buns, noodle and rice plates, wontons, and more. No matter what is ordered, everything on the menu is made with traditional recipes and the freshest ingredients.
