A successful multi-brand franchisee plans to take over Southern California after signing an agreement with a third company, a delicious breakfast specialist found throughout the country.

Franchisee Mohammed “Moe” Omar already operated four Crumbl stores in Southern California and has signed multiple leases for Ace Pickleball. The eager business owner is now ready to take on a third brand in his portfolio: Toastique. Omar signed an agreement with Toastique to open five locations in Orange County and plans to follow that up with San Diego County. He tells What Now San Diego that he will likely break into the new market at the end of next year.

“I’m actually in the process of acquiring two more Crumbl cookie stores, and the five-unit contract with Toastique is just starting up,” Omar told Nation’s Restaurant News last month. “We’re looking to potentially expand down south to San Diego next. We’d like to open up at least 20 Toastiques by 2030.”

Toastique is a boutique gourmet toast and juice bar based in Washington, D.C., and has 21 locations open. Currently, there is only one location in Newport Beach, with another site plan for Bakersfield in January 2024. This is just one of many new locations planned for Toastique, as its website mentions 12 new sites opening next year, including in Ann ArborCharlotteLos AngelesAnnapolisAustin, and other popular cities.
