Napa Valley is set to welcome two new culinary concepts at The Elene, the boutique resort is preparing to debut Vetra and the café, at 5091 Solano Ave. Napa, later in the Fall of 2026, according to managing director Cody Felice.
In an interview with WhatNow, Cody described the food and beverage program at the boutique resort as a project designed to move beyond the traditional formality that is sometimes associated with the region’s hospitality scene.
“We really want to bring some energy to the place,” Felice told WhatNow.
Inspired by Napa Valley’s seasonal ingredients and live-fire cooking techniques, Vetra will be led by chef Matthew Accarrino, deeply rooted in his Italian influence while incorporating broader regional flavors and locally driven ingredients, according to a press release.
For breakfasts, Vetra will offer an “Italian grazing table” with upscale classics, rotating specialties, smoothies, eggs, and made-to-order dishes. For lunch, the restaurant will offer sophisticated meals tailored to Napa Valley visitors looking to dine between winery appointments.
According to Cody Felice, Vetra’s dinner service will channel a lively dinner-party atmosphere. The space will feature nearly 20-foot ceilings, expansive views of Laird Estate and the surrounding mountains, an open-air kitchen, and a large communal table linking the dining room and bar. The menu will pair sophisticated cocktails with aged beef dishes, pizzas, and other Italian favorites.
The café is set to become a gathering place not only for hotel guests but also for residents looking for an approachable daily stop.
“The café really is a place for all,” he said.
A central courtyard will connect the café, lobby, and restaurant, creating an open social hub complete with fountains and outdoor seating areas.
Construction and planning have been underway for nearly two years, according to Felice, who said the team is eager to welcome guests in the late fall officially.
“We’re super excited to be in the community,” Felice said.
