The owners of Dino’s Family Restaurant in Fremont are about to debut a new concept right around the corner from their popular breakfast diner. Billy Roy’s is getting ready to open this year at 3909 Thornton Ave.
Speaking with What Now San Francisco earlier this year regarding a separate project in Sunnyvale, owner William Sinodinos teased plans for Billy Roy’s at the time. He mentioned that Billy Roy’s will be a new burger spot featuring a huge patio and TV’s.
There will likely also be beer and wine in the mix, based on a pending ABC license that was filed earlier this month. Based on this timing, we might venture to say that an opening is right around the corner, though Sinodinos recently couldn’t be reached for comment regarding the opening and other details.
That said, the popularity of Dino’s Family Restaurant is enough to suggest that Billy Roy’s will be just as delicious. While the former is a spot that locals frequent for breakfast and brunch, their smashburger topped with a fried egg is one of the most popular items on the menu.
