Coming soon to Alameda is Left Field Dogs, a new restaurant under construction at 1606 Webster St. The first of its kind in West End, Left Field Dogs will specialize in gourmet hot dogs, sausages and plenty of beer to wash it all down.

Co-owner John Ngu didn’t have too many details to disclose to What Now San Francisco at this time, explaining that he and business partner Abraham Kinfu are still working out all the details before they move forward with any official announcements. That said, the two recently applied for their beer and wine license and have set up an Instagram account, where they told excited commenters that they hope to open this summer.

Left Field Dogs is already a highly anticipated opening at this corner of Webster Street and Lincoln Avenue, where it is taking over the former Halalicious restaurant space. With its prime real estate on one of Alameda’s main entry and exit ways, it is sure to see plenty of business when they finally open.

Until then, follow @leftfielddogs on Instagram for updates and more information.
