According to SF Eater, a two-story sports bar is opening at Thrive City in early 2025.

Located at the Chase Center at 1725 3rd Street, the concept, Splash at Thrive City, will join tenants such as Che Fico Pizzeria, Dumpling Time, and Harmonic Brewing.

What Now San Francisco reached out to the concept’s owner — Kevin Diedrich of Pacific Cocktail Haven and Kona’s Street Market — to inquire about his plans for the drinkery, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, the journal reports that a “whopping 75 televisions will be installed in the space, along with an 840-square-foot curved LED wall and video ticker displaying the latest sports scores and news.”

The report continues, “It will be an indoor-outdoor space, with a 10,000-square-foot outdoor area featuring pet-friendly patios, an outdoor bar, and a large screen to watch the Warriors. There will also be games at the bar complex, including golf swing suites, Pop-A-Shot basketball arcade games, pool, shuffleboard, and foosball.”

On the menu, locals can expect to find sports bar menu items such as pretzels and nachos, as well as dishes including braised short ribs with roasted carrots, salads, and quinoa bowls.

Splash is slated to open in February 2025. Stay tuned for updates.
