Los Angeles-based group Sushi by Scratch is teaming up with Dustin Valette at The Matheson — a food and wine experience at 106 Matheson Street in Healdsburg, near eateries such as Barndiva, Dry Creek Kitchen, and KINSmoke.

What Now San Francisco contacted Phillip Frankland Lee and Margarita Kallas-Lee of Sushi by Scratch to inquire about the partnership, but they could not provide additional information before publication.

According to Sonoma Magazine, “The Lees now plan a 17-course omakase feast, limited to 12 diners at a time and prepared by a Sushi by Scratch chef who is relocating from southern California to run the Healdsburg operation.”

For readers unfamiliar with Sushi by Scratch, the concept began as a pop-up in Los Angeles and has grown to serve communities in Beverly Hills, Montecito, Miami, Austin, Chicago, Montreal, Seattle, and Los Angeles.
