A new concept from longtime restaurateur Raci Erdem is planned for 18219 E. Appleway Ave. in Spokane Valley. A recently filed Washington State liquor license lists the business as Capitol Bar and Grill.
The restaurant will take over the former Boomers Classic Rock Bar & Grill space. Boomers announced in January that it would close, and the restaurant has since shut its doors.
Capitol Bar and Grill will be the latest politically named restaurant connected to Erdem, whose other concepts include The White House Grill and The Oval Office Bistro & Martini Bar in Post Falls, Idaho, and The Pentagon Bistro & Martini Bar in Liberty Lake.
Erdem opened The White House Grill in 1996, building its menu around Mediterranean dishes. The Oval Office later introduced a mix of Northwest-inspired food and martinis, while The Pentagon serves shareable plates, steaks, seafood, burgers, and cocktails.
Capitol Bar and Grill is already listed as “coming soon” alongside the three restaurants, but details on its menu, opening date, and how closely it will follow Erdem’s existing concepts have not been released.
