El Pollo Sabroso is preparing to expand in Pasco. A recently filed Washington State liquor license indicates the restaurant is opening a second location at 1304 N. 4th Ave.

The family-owned business opened its original restaurant in 2020 at 1623 W. Lewis St. Owned by Valentin Lopez, El Pollo Sabroso has built its menu around the flavors of Colima, Mexico, specializing in grilled chicken, freshly made tortillas, and dishes prepared from scratch.

In addition to its signature chicken, the menu features tacos, tortas, burritos, enchiladas, fajitas, carne asada, carnitas, pozole, menudo, seafood plates, and other Mexican favorites.

Few details about the second location have been released, including an opening date or whether the menu or dining experience will differ from the existing restaurant.

What Now Seattle reached out to El Pollo Sabroso, and this article could be updated as more information about the opening becomes available.
