A new sports bar is preparing to open in Cape Coral. Opening at 1217 Del Prado Blvd. S., Castaways Sports Grill will be “a full service Restaurant and Bar loaded with TVs, live entertainment and daily Food specials!!” says the restaurant’s Facebook page.
The address given on the Facebook page matches the one given in plan review paperwork submitted recently by Castaways Sports Grill LLC.
What Now reached out on Wednesday to Joseph Longo, one of the principals attached to the project, to ask about plans for Castaways Sports Grill. Longo was not immediately available for comment.
That leaves us guessing, for the moment, about the sports bar’s planned opening timeline and the details of its menu.
Opening on the southeast corner of the intersection with Southeast 12th Terrace, Castaways Sports Grill will join nearby restaurants like Denny’s, Domino’s Pizza, and Cuban’s Coco Loco.
