What Now reported back in May on plans by Ice & Cream Creamery, the ice cream brand with scoop shops in places like Clearwater Beach, Madeira Beach, and St. Pete Beach, to open a new ice cream parlor in Gulfport. That opening has since gone through, and you can visit Ice & Cream Creamery at 3119 Beach Blvd S.
Now, Ice & Cream is preparing to expand once again with a new location in St. Petersburg. According to a submitted plan review, the new Ice & Cream Creamery will open at 648 Central Ave.
“Our ice cream is freshly made in small batches using the best locally sourced ingredients that Florida has to offer,” says the Ice & Cream website, which promises ice cream with ingredients that are “fresh and locally sourced,” are “top quality,” and feature “surprising taste combinations.”
The Ice & Cream flavor list includes choices like Red Velvet Cake, Salted Caramel Peanut, Coconut Almond Fudge, Dulce de Leche, and lots more.
What Now confirmed news of the opening with an owner of Ice & Cream on Wednesday: no opening date has been established yet, but the new scoop shop is working toward an opening in mid-November.
