Located at 1962 First Ave S, Pinellas Ale Works is a dog-friendly craft brewery, tap room, beer garden and private event space with “a dual mission of brewing doggone good beer and giving back to the community by hosting weekly and monthly events benefiting Pinellas County animal related charities.”
This one-of-a-kind beer destination is now preparing to expand to a second location. According to coverage published by St. Pete Rising this week, Pinellas Ale Works will open PAW Taps & Tails, a new taproom and production facility, in the space formerly occupied by Dissent Craft Brewing Company. Dissent closed last summer.
The coverage says that the new location will not only feature “up to 38 taps, communal seating, and retail space with dog related merchandise,” but will also supplement Pinellas Ale Works’ flagship location’s production.
In addition to having acquired the space and a good deal of Dissent Brewing’s equipment, PAW Taps & Tails will keep the memory of the site’s previous occupant alive.
“Our spaces offer flexibility, comfort, and character you won’t find in traditional banquet halls,” says the Pinellas Ale Works website. “The indoor barrel aging room comfortably seats up to 50 guests and features Wi-Fi and audio/visual support, while the outdoor beer garden accommodates larger gatherings with customizable layouts for games, food trucks, or live music.”
With another new space on the way, Pinellas Ale Works will be bringing the community more special events for beer and animal lovers.
