A new “neighborhood tavern where you can come solo or meet up with your friends for wine, craft beer, used books and original art by Griff” is opening in Tarpon Springs. It’s called the Novel Raven, and it’s set to open at 222 E Tarpon Ave.
Described on its Facebook page as “A novel idea of bringing together great wine, craft beer, art, board games and….used books!!!”, the bar has been maintaining radio silence on its social media feeds for several months. And now, plan review documents submitted by the bar for the East Tarpon Avenue address indicates the project is moving forward.
Opening in the East Tarpon Avenue location, the Novel Raven will join a restaurant community that includes concepts like Orange Cycle Creamery, Toula’s Trailside Cafe, and Johnny’s Taphouse and Grill.
What Now reached out to Tracy, owner of the Novel Raven, on Tuesday to ask about plans for the opening. The bar owner was not immediately available for comment.
Stand by for more details as they become available!
