International Plaza, the Tampa retail center home to retailers like Dick’s House of Sport and restaurants like Ocean Prime, has announced a slate of new tenants soon to be added to its roster, including seven concepts that will make their Tampa Bay debuts there.

“The additions continue to diversify the shopping center’s mix of fashion, dining and lifestyle offerings,” says coverage by Tampa Bay Business & Wealth about the new additions.

What Now has already reported on one of these new arrivals: Vuori, the coastal-California athletic and activewear brand.

Another of the seven planned retailers is BRITTO, the brand by artist Romero Britto. BRITTO’s colorful products range from apparel and activewear to categories like Home & Décor, Kitchen, Drinkware, and items for pets.

The products come from the imagination of Romero Britto, the founder of the Happy Art Movement.

“Brazilian-born and Miami-made, Romero has made it to the top and is considered one of the most famous and celebrated living visual artists in the globe,” says the Britto website. “Britto’s appreciation of the masters Pablo Picasso, Henry Matisse, Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, and Roy Lichtenstein influenced him to create a completely new artistic style by using vibrant, bold, and colorful patterns to reflect his optimistic view of the world around him.”

“NEW OPENING – Tampa,” says a recent Instagram post by Britto. “See you soon at the grand opening of the new BRITTO store & gallery in Tampa at the International Plaza and Bay Street.”
