Egg Club, a Canadian breakfast chain specializing in made to order egg sandwiches and breakfast bowls, is getting ready to open a new location in Toronto at Yonge Eglinton Centre at 2300 Yonge Street.

The company’s new location is listed in the mall’s directory, while its website currently includes Eglinton among its upcoming locations. An exact opening date has not been announced, but a representative tells WhaTNow Toronto that construction is expected to be completed in late September, with a potential October opening. Customers can expect Egg Club’s menu of breakfast sandwiches made with Japanese milk bread, folded eggs, house sauces, and a selection of breakfast bowls.

Egg Club currently operates several locations across the Greater Toronto Area, including restaurants on Dundas Street East, Yonge Street in the Wellesley area, and in North York. The company also has a location inside Toronto’s Union Station and another at Square One in Mississauga. Outside the GTA, Egg Club has locations in Waterloo, Ottawa, Calgary, and Edmonton.

The brand was founded around the idea of making egg sandwiches a more substantial breakfast option. According to the company, it spent more than two years developing its sandwiches, including the Japanese milk bread, eggs cooked fresh to order, and proprietary sauces. Egg Club says it now serves thousands of breakfast and lunch sandwiches each week across its Canadian locations.

The menu includes several sandwich options, including the Meat Lovers with smoked sausage, bacon, chipotle mayo, and Egg Club sauce, as well as the Classic, Egg Club, Ham & Cheese, Bacon & Cheese, and BLT. Other options include the Chipotle Lobster, Guacmolic, Cream Cheese Corn, and Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwiches. Breakfast bowls include the Meat Lovers Bowl and Chipotle Lobster Bowl, with hash browns, coffee, and other drinks also available.

The Yonge Eglinton Centre location will add Egg Club to one of Toronto’s established midtown shopping and dining areas. The company’s website also lists Vancouver and another GTA location among its upcoming restaurants, as it continues expanding beyond its existing Canadian locations.
