THG’s Hot Chicken is preparing to open its first Milton restaurant at 1216 Steeles Avenue East, according to INsauga.

The publication reported that signs are already installed at the new building near James Snow Parkway North. The company’s website lists Milton as coming soon in 2026, but an exact opening date has not been announced.

Chef Aleem Syed started the business with a Toronto food truck in 2011. Trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Ottawa, he worked in Toronto’s fine-dining kitchens before developing THG’s with relatives and friends.

The truck’s early menu had just four dishes, including a fried chicken sandwich. Before the pandemic, it operated from a Scarborough parking lot, where the company says customer lines kept growing.

THG’s now serves its halal, Nashville-style fried chicken at restaurants in Scarborough, Mississauga, Waterloo, and Brampton.

Its expansion plans also include locations at 435 Stone Road West in Guelph and at 750 Richmond Street, Unit 1, in London, both listed as coming soon in 2026.

At its restaurants, customers can find sliders, chicken sandwiches, wings, and tenders, with several combo meals served with fries. Other offerings include macaroni and cheese, loaded fries, and banana pudding.
