Gaucho Grill to Open Fourth Location in Pasadena

When co-owners Adrian and Luciana Amosa acquired Gaucho Grill, they reimagined the Argentine steakhouse to create a more modern, vibrant, and upscale dining experience. The husband and wife team also brought in a new executive chef to revitalize the menu. The new Gaucho Grill relaunched in Downey in 2016, followed by West Covina in 2018, and most recently Buena Park in February. Soon the modern Argentine steakhouse will open its fourth restaurant in Pasadena.

Gaucho Grill offers an exquisite menu of delectable steak and seafood plates, homemade pastas, empanadas, and milanesas. House favorites include the Gaucho chopped salad (romaine, napa cabbage, blue cheese, almonds, raisins, bacon vinaigrette) and the Entraña (skirt steak, 8 or 16 ounces). The steakhouse also offers a brunch, Gaucho (Happy) Hour, and dessert menu brimming with irresistible treats like Panqueques (Argentine crepes, dulce de leche, bananas, strawberries, vanilla whipped cream) and Dulce de Leche Flan (dulce de leche, cream cheese, strawberries, vanilla whip). Gaucho Grill is currently working on launching a vegan and vegetarian menu that will be available in select locations.

The modern Argentine steakhouse is also known for its dynamic cocktail program, which features signature handcrafted cocktails like the Infierno Margarita (tarea tequila infused with habanero chile, agave nectar, triple sec) and the Gaucho Smoked Penicillin (bourbon, fresh squeezed lemon juice, honey-ginger syrup, infused in smoking box).

For its fourth location, Gaucho Grill has secured a prime location at The Shops on Lake Avenue, a bustling hub of boutiques, casual and fine dining, and open communal spaces for locals. The Amosa’s prioritized finding a neighborhood where Gaucho Grill can build a robust connection with locals, rather than a more tourist-oriented area.

Gaucho Grill will settle into the 6,200-square-foot suite that had formerly been occupied by Paul Martin’s American Grill. The new restaurant will be able to seat approximately 192 people indoors and outdoors on a side patio that faces out to Coffee Bean and extends back. While each Gaucho Grill location has a distinct interior design, patrons can expect a sleek, modern industrial décor that boasts fine wood and beautiful stonework. Adrian told What Now Los Angeles that they will be working with the same architectural and interior design company behind the Buena Park location, which takes inspiration from South American wineries and resembles a modern estancia.

Gaucho Grill in Pasadena will open its doors by November 15th. The company also has plans for a future location in Long Beach.
