Salt & Straw Will Debut a New Location At Bridgeport Village

Salt & Straw currently has seven locations in Oregon, according to the company's website.

According to an article from the Portland Business Journal, Salt & Straw will soon expand with a new location at 7367 SW Bridgeport Road.

“Bridgeport Village has such an exciting future ahead,” says Kim Malek, Co-Founder and CEO in a press release. “The investments that have recently been made in the center are creating lively energy and a reputation as a destination for community gathering. We are excited to invest more deeply in Portland with this new scoop shop!”

“Salt & Straw Ice Cream is excited to announce the opening of a new scoop shop in Bridgeport Village. A family-run business, Salt & Straw was founded by cousins Kim and Tyler Malek.”

“The Portland-based company has been making award-winning ice cream that tells the story of artisans, farmers, and meaningful food moments for 13 years. Co-founder and Head Ice Cream Maker, Tyler Malek, creates a menu of classic flavors, alongside monthly rotating menus that reflect culinary trends, seasonality of ingredients, and relevant cultural moments.”

“They have consistently partnered with Oregon-based businesses for their signature menu of classic flavors, including Jacobsen Sea Salt for their Salted, Malted, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough; Red Ape Cinnamon for their Cinnamon Snickerdoodle; Singing Dog Vanilla for their renowned Double Fold Vanilla; Durant Olive Oil for their Arbequina Olive Oil flavor, and Rogue Creamery for their Pear &  Blue Cheese.”
