Flavor Country LLC, operating as Lincoln’s Fine Meats, has filed for an off-premises liquor license at 1413 NE Alberta St in Portland’s King neighborhood, according to a public notice from the City of Portland dated August 26. Owner Lincoln Clevenson is behind the new shop, which will mark his first time opening a business.

The address carries a fitting history for a meat focused concept. The space was most recently home to Pasture PDX, a whole animal butcher shop and restaurant known for sourcing locally raised, ethically farmed beef, pork and chicken into sandwiches like its pastrami, Reuben and Cubano. Pasture closed its doors in August after several years in the space, following a run that also included time as a flower shop under the name Flowers in Flight.

City filings describe Lincoln’s Fine Meats as a retail operation rather than a restaurant, with no seating planned and hours running 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. The application checked no boxes for live music, DJs or other entertainment, pointing to a straightforward retail meat shop model rather than a dine-in concept.

Alberta Street has built a reputation as one of Portland’s premier retail and restaurant destinations on the city’s east side, with neighbors like Bamboo Sushi anchoring the same stretch of the corridor.
