Broadstone Sugar Hill has started welcoming residents. The Alliance Residential Company apartment mixed-use, at 5010 West Broad Street NE, sits within the Sugar Hill Town Center. The master-planned area contains nearly 50,000 square feet of retail, restaurant, and office space, City Hall, a 387-seat performing arts theater, and The Bowl at Sugar Hill, a 1,750-seat outdoor amphitheater, and now, Broadstone. This is one of five of Alliance’s recent developments in the Atlanta-area this year with the Broadstone name.
“Broadstone Sugar Hill is the final element in the transformation of downtown Sugar Hill into a unique town-center that maintains small-town charm and a sense of community,” Todd Oglesby, southeast managing director at Alliance, said in a prepared statement. “Broadstone Sugar Hill embraces the city’s commitment to creating a walkable, livable destination and offers residents the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed lifestyle without sacrificing leisure, urban living. We are proud to be welcomed into the Sugar Hill community and to have worked closely with the City of Sugar Hill for a number of years to support the continued growth of downtown.”
Designed by Niles Bolton Associates, Broadstone Sugar Hill is comprised of four wood-framed buildings with 315 one-, two-, and three-bedroom units ranging in size from 647 to 1,478 square feet. Each open-floorplan unit is appointed with kitchens with quartz countertops and custom cabinetry; wood-style flooring in kitchens and living areas; Moen fixtures in kitchens and baths; push-button disposals; walk-in closets with custom shelving; “upsized” baths with porcelain tile and frameless glass showers; built-in USB ports; front-loading washers and dryers; and custom pendant lighting.
The community also includes 4,500 square feet of street-level retail space, the Sugar Hill Arts Commission gallery, and the Sugar Hill Historic Preservation Society’s museum, both operated by the City of Sugar Hill, and a two-story parking deck with 453 parking spaces.
