A Myrtle Beach pizzeria is moving to a new location just down the road.

According to a recent report from The Sun News, Hungry Howie’s Pizza will relocate from its current address at 1601 S Kings Hwy to 1401 S Kings Hwy, taking over the former Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs space.

Franchisee Brian Edelen, who owns several Hungry Howie’s locations in the Myrtle Beach area, is overseeing the move. Hungry Howie’s Manager Sherry Trott told The Sun News that the new location will also feature a Scoops Ice Cream shop.

Founded in 1973, Hungry Howie’s today boasts more than 500 locations nationwide. Along with its signature pizza, the franchise offers oven-baked subs, salads, wings, spaghetti, desserts, and more.

The exact reason behind the move remains unclear, but the new Hungry Howie’s Pizza site is expected to open in January 2025.
