It looks like the popular casual Italian restaurant is showing no signs of slowing down.
Serafina is a well-known NYC based Italian restaurant founded by Vittorio Assaf and Fabio Granato, who endeavored to bring the perfect pizza and pasta experience to New York after a dangerous encounter at sea left them dreaming of their favorite Italian Food. What Now NY previously covered their flagship Midtown café, which opened earlier this month. Modeled after a traditional Italian café, Serafina’s flagship restaurant has launched to rave reviews, and the brand is still continuing to expand.
Serafina To Go is an offshoot of the core Serafina brand, that offers a quick-service menu for patrons on the go. What Now NY also covered the reveal of their first location at 30 Broad Street, and now more information is coming out about their next location. While the Serafina team has announced their intention to open eight Serafina To Go spaces across the city, their latest location will be moving into the space at 110 University Place. Serving up their traditional pasta, pizza, salad, wine, and beer, Serafina To Go offers all the comforts of the beloved restaurant at a speed that is more amenable to American culture.
Moving into a new construction on University Place, the new location will feature 1,800 square feet and will offer a total of 68 seats for guests, in addition to a new stand up bar. The space will be operating a sidewalk café as well, and is currently proposing operating hours of 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM, seven days a week.
