Pure Cupcakes is working on bringing a second bakeshop to Del Mar Highlands Town Center, as confirmed by the shopping center’s website. The bakery will join the expansive shopping center next to Xin Chào Eatery and Ike’s Love and Sandwiches. You currently find their sweet treats served out of Pacific Beach.
Established in 2009, Pure Cupcakes has built up their reputation through TV baking challenges and local awards. Owners Mary Sarain and Nikki Black competed and won the Food Network TV challenge, Cupcake Wars.
Get ready to indulge in some of their classic cupcake flavors available every day like the Red Velvet, PUREfetti, and Death by Chocolate. Or specialty cupcakes, only available on certain days of the week (check the menu for specifics) like Tiramisu or Buñuelos. Seasonal options currently include the Pecan Pie and Pumpkin Cobbler cupcakes.
Pure Cupcakes also serves scratch-made cookies and bars, cake pops, and custom designed cakes for any occasion. Flavors rotate quarterly to keep ingredients fresh, seasonal, and PURE.
