Pazza Market and Cucina is the latest concept from the former team behind Lean and Green Cafe in La Jolla. Eater reports the new restaurant and Italian market is almost ready in The Collection at UTC in La Jolla

What Now San Diego reported in 2021 that owner Vanessa Uteau was in the early stages of planning Pazza Market. Eater shares that Uteau has partnered with Douglas Tokarik and local Chef Patrick Money on the project.

Renderings by My Studio ID show casual cafe seating, walls lined with wine and imported Italian goods and food products, and large windows looking into the kitchen complete with a large pizza oven.

While few details are available at this time via social media, guests can look forward to a menu of Italian foods, beer, and wine. The market will act as a one stop shop for authentic Italian goods and wines to stock your own home kitchen with.

Pazza Market and Cucina will reportedly open in mid-December 2022 in UTC alongside Blue Bottle Coffee and Pacific Catch. Follow Pazza Market on Instagram for details and updates.
