Truffle is the latest restaurant from restaurateur Vincenzo Loverso of San Diego Dining Group. Labeled a “Neighborhood Cucina,” the Italian restaurant is in the works in the heart of North Park.
Located on the bustling block of University Avenue and 30th Street, the restaurant will replace the now-closed North Park Sushi and Grill.
Truffle is brought to us by the same restaurant group behind unique concepts like popular brunch spot Breakfast & Bubbles, and the Gaslamp’s Latin American fusion spot Zama.
San Diego Dining Group is no stranger to Italian cuisine, formed by Sicilian and Neapolitan restaurant professionals who also operate concepts like Al Dente and Osteria Panevino which feature pasta made in-house along with simple but elegant organic ingredients in their classic dishes.
