Called one of San Diego’s best ramen restaurants, RakiRaki Ramen & Tsukemen is planning a third San Diego restaurant. According to a recent permit filing, RakiRaki is expected to join Plaza Rancho Penasquitos next.
Chef Junya Watanabe opened RakiRaki Ramen & Tsukemen in 2012 in Kearny Mesa. Watanabe has since gone on to open a second RakiRaki location in Mira Mesa and introduced a vegan sushi concept, The Yasai, which operates next door to the Convoy RakiRaki and in Little Italy.
RakiRaki serves an array of ramen dishes, showcasing Watanabe’s craft of blending traditional ramen making techniques in a modern and inviting atmosphere. Their expansive menu includes chicken karaage, tsukemen (dipping noodles), curry dishes, signature sushi rolls, and donburi rice bowls, served with a selection of local craft beer or sake.
An opening date for the latest RakiRaki Ramen in Rancho Penasquitos has not been announced. Stay updated by following RakiRaki Ramen on Instagram.
