Two New Happy Tuna Outposts Set to Open Soon

The aesthetically-pleasing, to-go style sushi spot is currently seeking two additional outposts. It currently has outposts in Midtown West and Soho.

The modern “easy to pack, fun to eat, and totally Instagrammable” sushi spot, Happy Tuna, is looking to open two new outposts.

Lease comps obtained by What Now New York indicate that the team signed the lease for a 2,500-square-foot space on 122 E. 42nd Street in Midtown. The restaurant also indicates on its website that it is opening a new location uptown soon. The brand concept currently has a pick up and delivery storefront at 255 West 36th Street in Midtown West, as well as a delivery-only downtown Soho storefront at 380 Broome Street. 

The brand concept prides itself for using high quality and sustainable produce to create their nutritional and healthy meals. 

It’s best-sellers include its Roll With Us with an eight-piece salmon avocado roll, eight-piece yellowtail scallion roll, three-piece crispy rice with spicy tuna, and miso soup, as well as its Nigiri Galore with two-piece salmon nigiri, two-piece yellowtail nigiri, two-piece albacore nigiri, two-piece shrimp nigiri, three-piece crispy rice with spicy tuna, edamame, miso soup, and one roll of choice.

You can also get the best of both worlds with their best-seller Hit The Combo, which comprises of an eight-piece spicy tuna roll, eight-piece crab roll, two-piece salmon nigiri, two-piece albacore nigiri, two-piece yellowtail nigiri, two-piece tuna nigiri, two-piece unagi nigiri, two-piece shrimp nigiri, three-piece crispy rice with spicy tuna, edamame, and miso soup. 

You can also substitute your rice for a sorghum grain, cauliflower rice, or freekeh grain, all of which are healthier alternatives.
